The petition
To the Casco Select Board and Code Enforcement Officer, Town of Casco, Maine:
We, the undersigned neighbors, friends and community members, respectfully ask the Town of Casco to approve the Home Occupation application submitted for Pachamama Sanctuary at 50 Rabbit Run Lane, and to work together with the Sanctuary toward an agreement that lets it continue to serve its community.
Pachamama Sanctuary is a small, independent church where people come for prayer, reflection and healing. We believe a place of worship and healing can be a good neighbor in Casco.
We ask the Town to give this application a fair review, apply the same standards applied to other uses of this property, and choose cooperation over conflict.
By signing, you agree that we may share your name and ZIP code with the Town of Casco as part of this petition, and that we may send you occasional email updates about it. You can unsubscribe at any time. We never sell or share your email.
Standing with us in the Town process comes with real legal costs. Our goal is $25,000 to cover legal fees and keep the Sanctuary's doors open through winter. If you can, a gift of any size helps.
